Owning a domain is a normal thing today. We can use our domain to setup email with our domain.

Description

There are some companies provide such services let you use your own domain for email. Or you can setup your own email service with your domain which You need to maintain your email service. I don’t think this is a good option personally.

How

I will use zoho as an example in this article.

Signup

1. Go to signup page
2. Enter your email and password or use third-party login.

Setting

1. click mail service

2. choose self domain

3. type your domain and verify

4. add text configuration(HOST RECORDS, MX Record) in your dns provider

   Type	Host Value TTL
   TEXT_RECORD	@	{ValueFromTheService}
   
   #Adding MX Record
   MX Record	@  {Value}

5. add the right configuration on demand

Zoho doesn’t support POP, IMAP and SMTP.
